This week I started my new job. So far it has been great. I was set up with a new computer with a huge screen and all the software I need. I feel pretty lucky to have gotten all of that. It has been an adjustment though. Going from 20 people to 1 person to talk to during the day is different. Although I rarely ventured out to mingle that often but not to have that option is weird. My boss and I are definitely figuring each other out which has been pretty cool. We are cranking on a lot of projects that have tight deadlines right now and it feels really good especially for it being my third day that he is trusting me with so much. I am currently working on a brand that has already been designed which is cool, but I am excited to spread my wings on work that I can come into on the ground floor.
Other than the new job Zane is sleeping really great. Although I say that now and tonight he will be up crying all night. Ha. He is getting really big and is growing out of things way too fast. Being a dad is so cool.

Pat's vocational escapades! I want to hear all about it. But first, the important questions:
1)When will they be transferring you to London?
2)How many vacation days do you get?
It's good to hear you have found something you like.
The baby is beautiful and looks just like me, uh.. awe crap, I meant you, yes, exactly like you.
But really, we need to catch up before I head over to the UK and I am happy you are doing so well.

YES!! you get a nice big mac display! now, are you working on a mac mini, or a g4/any other generation of powermac? if this helps, i read that apple did a study and found people were twice as work-effective if they invested in larger screen real-estate. so apparently having a bigger monitor is better for your productivity. cool! i wish i had a cinema display. :-( today is now a sad day because i don't have a mac. thanks. you get a lamp at home, and now a nice spankin new one at your cool new job. make me feel worse. just kidding. it's awesome to hear that your new job is going nicely! i meant to ask on sunday, but must have forgot in the excitement of wearing a stupid costume. hey, will you be at yg on wednesday?- michael
